Mike “Chet” Winchester
was a prospect in the Grand Rapids Warthogs chapter. “Chet” was
killed on August 8, 2007 while riding his motorcycle with his
Grand Rapids chapter
brother Josh “M.I.P.” McConkie.
“
Chet” was a native of the Upper Peninsula and graduated
from Lake Superior State. “Chet” began his career
with East Grand Rapids Department of Public Safety in 2002 and
remained there until his accident.
“
Chet” was humble quiet man who took care of his family,
friends and follow officers. The Grand Rapids Chapter honored
their brother “Chet” in June of 2008 with the first
annual Mike “Chet” Winchester Memorial Poker Run.
“
Chet” will never be forgotten
